I do realize the compiled posts are rather long, so I’m contemplating putting them into pages eventually. In the meantime, thank you for reading. Please proceed under the cut.

trigger warning for suicidal ideation.
pensieri 1
The first of the blog-style posts, the combination of three earlier tumblr posts. Under the cut. Once there are more, they will get directional links.
starting small series: pensieri
Once in a while I’ve been posting small tumblr blog-type posts. Those posts will be compiled and archived here. When completed, they will more or less serve as bridge between the two long stories already in place.
As they are blog-type, first-person posts, instead of giving them individual pages they will be presented as posts (with numberings and directional arrows). Inspired drabbles are the best I can come up with at the moment, as the work life is long and tiring.
I apologize if at this point I cannot give a regular schedule of post releases.
Thank you!
We DID manage to sell some copies. Thank you for the people who bought them.
Leslie did make a good suggestion of having the remaining printed copies available for buying with mailing. If anyone is interested in this option, please comment to this post and we’ll work something out. ^^v
let’s do this!
We’re ready!
NGF said nice words
I’ll have pictures eventually when I have copies to show you all.
This is just me mentioning that a week or so back I asked permission to include the hotline numbers of The Natasha Goulbourn Foundation to the Activated part 1 release. They said yes, and “thank you so much for your kindness”.
NGF is the most organized and most visible local version of Save.org.
People who have read through the online version of Activated will understand why I thought it necessary to include trigger warnings and those numbers.
The numbers will also be included in releases of the second and third parts, when they happen.
covers for Komikon release!
The awesome Mel Casipit is done inking, so here are the covers for part 1 of Activated and There are No Programs. They are simple, but they are awesome.
As you can see Mel’s takes are a nice melding of K’s original drawings and the DreamSelf versions. This is definitely true about Soji and Marceau’s drawings, which I’ll show eventually. The covers are just me trying my best to layout.
I do hope you like it enough to get a copy at Summer Komikon on April 13! (I’ll think about what I’ll do for international readers. I’m open to suggestions. ^^v)
Oh, and Mel does take art and caricature commissions (for birthdays and weddings and such), check out his blog for some samples!
Activated part 1 and No Programs will be at Summer Komikon 2013
It’s two weeks before the event, so I guess I can do this now without jinxing anything. Some amount of promotion is needed anyhow.
As a second attempt, the first one-third of Activated will appear at Summer Komikon 2013. Unlike in the first attempt, this will be in a printed form, as folded-paper booklets (which is the standard indie-comics format in my country, and is becoming also the accepted format for indie fiction). This time it comes with illustrations by Mel Casipit (of the Mukat series) and in cooperation with Frances Luna III Illustration Firm.
There are No Programs will also be released as a short story, also with illustrations by Mel.
Let’s just hope I can actually manage to get those booklets made nicely in good time.
I’ll show pictures eventually as things actually happen. Please wish me stuff.
